Philosophy of Education
Education to me centers around the belief that the goal of education is to create motivated, creative students who will be active, contributing members of the world in which they live.  I believe that all individuals are extraordinary in their own way, thus it is the role of education to facilitate the students growth towards extraordinary.  It is a basic human right that all people be given the opportunity of education.  As teachers our job is to help all students to reach their potential whatever that may be.  Education is also the path to curiosity, individual responsibility, and life-long learning.  The teacher’s job then is to create curiosity, model individual responsibility, and help all students to become lovers of learning which will serve them throughout their lives.
